The Huge Tramp

As soon as we got there we had to go on an enormous tramp. The first hill was called Killer hill, which was huge. I think that was the hardest hill out of all of them, because it was so hard to walk up without holding onto trees. I then got to the top and heard we weren’t even close to the end.

We then got to a certain place where we had to have a lunch break with everyone. Some of the children forgot their day pack and had no lunch, so they had to ask their friends if they could have some. Rita then had to say a speech by the pile of rocks that were there from over the years. We then had to set off onto the rest of our tramp.

The rest of the tramp was mostly downhill, which I thought was dumb. I don’t like going downhill, because you have to lean back like you’re doing the limbo. I slipped frequently, but luckily landed on my bottom each time. I would rather go uphill than down.

  1. Hello Marvin! There's nothing like a tramp in the bush with mates. Your description of your tramp is very good. I especially like the way you described the down hill experience - like doing the limbo! Good thing we have bottoms to land on! I also agree with you that going up is better than going down. Well done.
